Move Up Cycling Club is a community for riders of all ages, all abilities, and all disciplines. Whether you’re new to cycling, racing at a national level, or somewhere in between, there’s a place for you here. We’re focused on growth, mentorship, and building community through shared experiences—on and off the bike.

Get connected
We use Slack for all team communication. You can download the app on your phone and watch for a welcome email with join instructions.
If you don’t receive it, email kent@moveupcoaching.com for access.
Step 3:
Show up!
The best way to get the most out of the club—and anything in life—is to show up. Join group rides, races, clinics, and practices. We’ll create the opportunities, but it’s up to you to be there and make the most of them.
Expectations
All members must follow the Move Up Cycling Club Code of Conduct and USAC Code of Conduct.
Riders are encouraged to wear a Move Up jersey at official events to represent the club. Jerseys typically cost $50–120, depending on the style.
Club jerseys are required for:
USAC events.
Any race where team strategy is used.
Elite team members must wear the club jersey at all race events.
For racing purposes, members are expected to represent Move Up exclusively across all disciplines (road, MTB, gravel, etc).
Non-racing memberships (e.g., RCC) are fine.
NICA participation is encouraged.
Exceptions (e.g., composite or national teams) can be discussed with Coach Kent.
Club discounts and perks are for current members only—please don’t share them outside the team.
Coaching Note:
Athletes are encouraged to work 1-on-1 with a professional coach for individualized training and guidance.
While Move Up Endurance Coaching is the club’s title sponsor, members are free to work with any qualified coach.
Team Clothing
Primary Supplier: We place two bulk orders per year with our main clothing supplier.
Best time to order winter jackets, vests, and custom bibs.
These orders are announced in advance on Slack and by email.
Jakroo Store: Open year-round for spot orders.
Perfect for ordering jerseys and small items between bulk orders.
- Race fit and club fit options available.
Turnaround time is typically 2–4 weeks.
Sizing: Our bulk clothing orders will prioritize race-fit clothing.
We recommend trying on a teammate’s kit or referencing the manufacturer sizing chart before ordering.
Pricing: Jerseys typically range from $50–120, depending on the material and style.
Jerseys: Teal vs. Rose
Everyone starts with the rose jersey, which represents inclusion, growth, and community.
The teal jersey recognizes athletes who’ve reached a higher level of racing performance, leadership, and mentorship within the club.
Eligibility for the Teal Jersey:
You must have completed one of the following:
USAC Cat 2 (Road)
USAC Cat 2 (Cyclocross)
USAC Cat 1 (MTB)
Three or more top-5% finishes in the primary competitive field (e.g., Open category, not age-group or short distance) within a 12-month period.
When in doubt, discuss with leadership—we’ll make fair decisions together.
Why It Matters:
Cycling is a sport where jerseys tell your story. Joining a club is the first step. Earning your teal jersey shows your commitment and growth—but it’s not about hierarchy. It’s about progress. From there, the path is wide open: series leader, state champion, national champion, or even world champion. These milestones are real and attainable, and we’re proud to help our riders chase them.
